Greetings, my name is H A Wellborn, "Vincent"
I am an aspiring not so young indi. film maker. Dakats Productions Inc. here in Las Vegas, NV, Late of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. I am working on a few projects, one of which I hope to make into some sort of feature or on going Enet serial. In your book, To The Vanishing Point, there is a chapter and or short segment that deals with the family of the adventure discovering an old dinner, basically at the cross roads of time and space.
I have read this over and over and through the years it has always stuck in my head, as the perfect opening to my project, The Grand Junction, which I hope to film as a short to start off with and see where it goes from there, well the location of the dinner and it's function lends to my project and would be the perfect lead in to the serial, my question is how and or may I use this concept of yours from your book? I would be more than willing to give full credit from whence this portion of the films idea came from. What I am in need of is if it is ok to use, and I also would be willing to send you a copy of the written script for this portion of the film.
